Ramadan Kareem!

Hey everyone, so Ramadan is finally here! It's an amazing feeling. Ramadan Kareem to all the muslims around the world and may ALLAH SWT bless us all! Ameen!

Ramadan is the blessed and holy month in Islam. It's fasting from sunrise to sunset. Yes, we don't drink water either and no we don't die. I love Ramadan, waking up for suhoor and all the preps and yummy food for Iftaar. Okay so obviously, it's not just about food. It's about worshipping, getting close to ALLAH and praying. Reading Quran, giving charity and helping others are all a big part of what Ramadan is all about.

Ramadan is the blessed and holy month because Quran was completed in Ramadan. It is either on the 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th or the 29th of Ramadan. From these 5 nights, one of them is the night of power, it is said to be better than 1000 months.

Mainly, it's all about learning patience, and feeling what the less fortunate feel. It's a beautiful month! I hope everyone is praying, reading quran and of course having yummy food for Iftar! Since, my bag got snatched recently, I don't have a phone and well that's why no picture either. It's the first roza (fast) today and Alhumdulillah going really well.

*The month of ramadan in which was revealed the Qur'an, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong). So whoever of you sights (the crescent on the first night of) the month (of ramadan i.e. is present at his home), he must observe Saum (fasts) that month, and whoever is ill or on a journey, the same number [of days which one did not observe Saum (fasts) must be made up] from other days. Allah intends for you ease, and He does not want to make things difficult for you. (He wants that you) must complete the same number (of days), and that you must magnify Allah [i.e. to say Takbir (Allahu Akbar; Allah is the Most Great] for having guided you so that you may be grateful to Him.
(Al-Baqara, Chapter #2, Verse #185*
Anyways, until next time. Have a safe and blessed Ramadan!
